How does FightCause work?
FightCause is a fundraising platform built for the entire boxing community. Athletes, clubs, gyms, and nonprofit organizations can raise funds, sell event tickets, and share updates with supporters. Create a campaign, set your goal and story, publish, and share. Supporters can donate, buy tickets, or sponsor directly from your page.
What does it cost?
FightCause charges no platform fee to athletes, clubs, or nonprofits. Donors may leave an optional tip. Standard Stripe card processing fees still apply.
How do payouts work?
Donations and ticket sales are processed through Stripe and transferred directly to your connected bank account. Nonprofits can connect their accounts directly to receive funds.
How do I start a campaign?
Click “Start a Campaign,” set your goal and story, upload media, and publish. Whether you’re an athlete preparing for Nationals, a club supporting your team, or a nonprofit funding community programs, FightCause makes it simple.
Can clubs, teams, or nonprofits join?
Yes. FightCause is designed for the entire boxing ecosystem. Clubs, gyms, and nonprofit organizations like Boxing is Love can create campaigns, run ticketed events, and support their athletes and communities.
How is FightCause different from GoFundMe?
FightCause is built specifically for combat sports. It includes event ticketing, sponsor integration, and boxing-focused features you will not find on generic fundraising platforms.
Can I offer merch or rewards?
Yes. Campaign organizers can add reward tiers or merchandise items that supporters can claim when they donate.
Do I need to be a nonprofit?
No. FightCause is open to individual athletes, gyms, clubs, and nonprofits. You do not need nonprofit status to fundraise on the platform.
About the Founder
I’m the founder of Raw Power Boxing and a coach with deep roots in the fight community. I also proudly serve as a Coaching Education Clinician for USA Boxing. With a career in fundraising technology, I’ve helped athletes, clubs, and nonprofits raise the money they need to reach their goals. I started FightCause to give the boxing community a platform of our own. It’s more than software, it’s a way to fuel dreams.
